Cover: On My Own
Okay, so this is the first time I'm ever posting a cover of mine on this blog......and I'm pretty hesitant about it. Enjoy? {Also, yes, I still have the Les Mis fever. And my mom has been requesting this from me for a while now, so I thought I might as well share it here.}

Put Your Records On - Cover by Lissa Lohner
I heard my sister playing this earlier today, and I instantly said, "Oh my goodness, who is that?! She has an amazing voice!" Thus, I discovered Lissa Lohner. Man, this girl has loads of potential. I really hope she does more covers. Her voice is just so chill and jazzy. Just the type I listening to! Ahh, can't wait for more Lissa!

I have the Rise of the Guardians score!
I'm just having a really good Sunday right now because I'm listening to the Rise of the Guardians score! The movie was FANTASTIC {I watched it twice!} and I'm in love with the music. I'll be making some RotG fanart, don't you worry. I'll also be working on a post about the movie! It's a great watch with the family, so do watch while it's still in theatres! :)

Song of the Day: Sunshine & City Lights by Greyson Chance
For those of you who don't know, I am a huge huge HUUUUUUUGE Enchancer. In fact, I've been a fan of Greyson's even before he was featured on Ellen! So naturally, I freaked out when it was announced that he would be returning to the Philippines for the third time in a year. {He misses me. Hahaha, kidding!} I got to meet him when he came last November 2011. He was very nice, polite, and extremely down to earth. {He even called me sweetie three times! *fangirl*}
I didn't get to go to his concert last April, so I'm definitely not passing up the opportunity to see Greyson perform live again while he promotes his new EP - Truth Be Told. Here is the first single released from the mini album, Sunshine & City Lights. Enjoy!

Inspiration in my Headphones
August has finally arrived! What would be a better way to start it than listening to new music? FINALLY, iTunes has released the How to Train Your Dragon soundtrack by John Powell. I was totally freaking out when my dad allowed me to get it! It's one of my favorite movie soundtracks ever and I could listen to it all day! My favorite tracks are probably Romantic Flight, Test Drive, and Forbidden Friendship. I definitely recommend this to all of you!

Song of the Day: Good Time by Owl City feat. Carly Rae Jepsen
I can't even describe how well Adam and Carly's voices sound together! They should definitely do more songs in the future. This is a good to play during road trips or when you're hanging out with friends. It's definitely one of my favorite songs right now! :)

Song of the Day: Just a Game by Birdy
Hello everyone! I apologize for the lack of updates. I have been very busy during the last week of April. (I just graduated from grade school! Exciting, right?)
But anyways, it is finally May! To start off the month, I am going to present you with the song of the day! It's called Just a Game by Birdy, from The Hunger Games soundtrack. It is probably my favorite song at the moment. Birdy's voice is just perfect with the feel of the soundtrack! She's totally one of my new favorite artists.

Song of the Day: When You Grow Up by Priscilla Ahn
I just love the quirkiness of this song. It has a simple sound and no techno beats just crowding the singer's voice. I also love the fact that the song isn't about partying or drugs. It conveys a very childish and whimsical message of growing up!

One Short Day in the Emerald City
Greetings, fellow Ozians! Last January 11th, my family and I travelled to Singapore to watch the much loved Broadway musical, Wicked, at the Marina Bay Sands.
Being a lover of musicals, I was very very very excited. You cannot imagine how I freaked out big time when my parents said we would be watching.
The production was marvelous. The sets were perfect, the lighting was amazing and the costumes were utterly beautiful! The actors, oh my goodness, they aren't even human! I was squirming in my seat as Elphaba was performing Defying Gravity. It's a truly different experience when you watch the real production right in front of your eyes. I can die happy now.

Stuck In The Moment. ♥
Hey guys! This is a very late post about what I'm going to blog about. Very late. /smirks
Anyways, you guys probably know what happened here in Manila last May 10, 2011. Well, if you have no idea, Justin Bieber came to Manila! Yeah!
Well at first, I wasn't that excited about the concert since tickets were too expensive and I wasn't sure if they were still available! But thanks to my sister's persuading skills, she got my dad to check Ticket World for info! By luck, there were still 13 tickets available! Yay!
While my sister and I waited for May 10, we started to prepare essentials we would need for the concert. Like a Justin Bieber tshirt! Luckily, we found some in The Perfect White Shirt. My friend Danica (who also went to the concert with me) made two banners.
On May 10, I actually had cooking lessons, so I ended up smelling like food during the taxi ride to the MOA Concert Grounds. My dad was already lining up for us. He was there since 2pm! And the concert was at 8:00pm!
Man, it was packed! The whole area was overtaken by girls, if you ask me. Haha! The picture on the left is from the line. It was a good thing my dad got a spot near the front of the line (since the tickets we got were free seating).
Almost everyone was in purple! It was so funny, cause my mom was going to be watching the concert with us. After noticing, she turned to me and asked, "Arielle, what's with purple today?" I couldn't help but laugh! I was like, "Mom! Purple is Justin's favorite color!" Hahaha!
Then Danica arrived and joined us in the line. The security started letting people in at around 5pm. Man, people were running like crazy! It was so much fun! Haha! We got good seats, but sadly, security took away our banners. /sniff I don't really know why. They took away all our hard work.
Here's a picture of the place after everyone was in. If Justin ever comes back to the Philippines, he should have his concert at Araneta. Seriously. /laughs
We had McDonald's for dinner. You're not allowed to bring even bottled water in there! Suxx.
Poreotics were Justin's front act. They were awesome. They even taught the audience how to dougie! "Step, step. Cross, cross. Wheelchair, wheelchair." Lol~
Then after Poreotics, a DJ came up and started playing music. He even put a countdown to count the minutes 'till Justin would finally be on stage.
After 15 long minutes, Justin finally came on stage. At last! Here's the order of all the songs he sang:
